The Boat & Horses was originally built in 1804, and was known as the Pleasure Boat Inn before receiving its present name in 1826. The construction of the M60 caused substantial damage to the foundations of the Boat & Horses and the pub was completely rebuilt in 1999.
In September 2016 we completed a full refurbishment ahead of the launch of our brand new Rotisserie & Carvery Kitchen. We reopened in October 2016 with a brand new Rotisserie and bar area and an exciting new menu, featuring fresh, delicious rotisserie chicken with a variety of sauces and dips as well as ribs and exciting side dishes. Our fantastic carvery was also updated and refreshed and we are pleased to continue to offer delicious roasted meats served with all the trimmings.
We look forward to welcoming you to the new look Boat & Horses this October.
